Arab Week at UNESCO kicked off on November 4 - 5 at the UNESCO headquarters in Paris. Organized by Saudi Arabia's National Commission for Education, Culture, and Sciences, with the support of Arab countries, the event aims to celebrate the diverse and vibrant tapestry of Arab cultures. Twenty-two dedicated spaces, each representing an Arab country, take visitors on an exciting trip through the region's history. These exhibitions showcase a wide range of cultural expressions, including calligraphy, musical performances, handicrafts, fashion, and cuisine. The State of Qatar participated with a distinguished pavilion overseen by His Excellency Dr. Nasser bin Hamad Al-Henzab, the Permanent Representative of Qatar to UNESCO. The Qatari pavilion featured an array of heritage products and exhibits that highlight the country's rich customs, traditions, and deep-rooted Arab and Islamic identity.
