Msheireb Museums will unveil "Memory of the Land," an art exhibition, on January 21, 2025. This unique collection of artwork has been put together to depict the core of Palestinian identity and has been contributed by artists from the region. The exhibition will be open to the public free of charge starting January 22, 2025 during regular museum hours. “Memory of the Land” contains pieces from twelve gifted Palestinians and artists from Palestine, Jordan, Tunisia, Algeria and Syria. Each artist has illustrated a specific month through their own piece making their contribution to the beautiful narrative that reflects the traditional Palestinian life. By supporting this exhibition, Msheireb Museums seeks to foster concern around humanitarian issues and a better understanding of Palestinian culture and heritage among the public. This evocative collection of artwork acts as a bridge for expression and juxtaposition of diverse cultures, motivating the audience to reflect upon the resilience of the Palestinian people, through the contemporary art perspective.
