Sheikha Al Mayassa bint Hamad Al Thani, chairperson of Qatar Museums (QM), was awarded the "Arab Woman Leader of the Year 2023" by the Arab Development Council for Women and Business (ADCWB). The announcement, made by the Qatari Embassy in Beirut, recognized her achievements in promoting Arab culture. Qatar's ambassador, Sheikh Saud bin Abdul Rahman Al Thani, accepted the award on her behalf and emphasized Qatar's support for Arab women. Sheikha Al Mayassa expressed gratitude and the ADCWB president, Iman Ghossain, praised her as a role model for Arab women, citing her efforts in preserving Qatari culture and amplifying Arab heritage globally.
