Katara Launches Cultural and Entertainment Events for FIFA Arab Cup Qatar 2025

Katara Cultural Village has launched a vibrant lineup of events in celebration of the FIFA Arab Cup Qatar 2025, transforming the Katara Corniche into a lively hub of culture, art, and football spirit. Running daily from 3pm to 10pm until December 18, the activities offer visitors an immersive blend of entertainment, heritage, and sports. Large screens at Al Hikma Square broadcast live Arab Cup matches, creating an exciting fan zone capable of hosting thousands in a dynamic atmosphere.
The celebrations include diverse art exhibitions, theatrical performances, musical evenings, and folk shows that highlight Qatar’s cultural richness. Katara has been adorned with football-inspired lighting and artistic displays to welcome guests and enhance the festive mood. Among the key attractions is the second edition of the “Painting from Qatar” exhibition, featuring works from 15 artists that reflect the country’s vibrant artistic landscape, alongside the newly launched Qatari Fine Arts Exhibition drawing strong interest from visitors and art enthusiasts.
From the opening day, Katara witnessed a remarkable turnout as families, tourists, and football fans enjoyed live performances, interactive spaces, and match screenings. The Al Thuraya Planetarium is also presenting a variety of films, while dedicated family-friendly zones ensure a safe and engaging experience for children. With its unique mix of culture and sport, Katara continues to offer a captivating environment that celebrates creativity, community, and the excitement of the Arab Cup.
