The Dar Al Maghreb Pavilion, covering 1,300 square meters at MIA Park, serves as a gateway to Moroccan culture. Inspired by the UNESCO World Heritage site Ksar Aït Benhaddou, the pavilion embodies traditional earthen architecture. As part of the Qatar-Morocco 2024 Year of Culture programs, the pavilion offers a journey through Morocco's history, culture, and aspirations. The space is divided into four thematic zones, each offering insights into the country's rich heritage. Visitors can explore these zones for free, learning about Moroccan traditions through informative displays and cultural activations. To take a piece of Morocco home, the pavilion features a gift shop selling unique items. And for a taste of Moroccan hospitality, the tea shop offers traditional mint tea and sweet treats.
