Qatar Charity (QC) has laid the foundation stone for a major educational project in the Kalutara area of Sri Lanka, aimed at serving nearly 2,000 students of Kalutara Central Islamic College. According to QC, the project will feature the construction of a three-story building spanning 9,000 square feet. It will be fully furnished and equipped with four state-of-the-art science laboratories, four classrooms, and modern administrative and service facilities. The project is expected to be completed within one year. Mr. Mahmoud Abu Khalifa, Director of Qatar Charity's office in Sri Lanka, highlighted that the initiative reflects Qatar Charity’s commitment to providing a stimulating educational environment that enhances academic performance and supports holistic development. He also commended the generosity of the Qatari people for their continued contributions to humanitarian and development efforts worldwide.
