Qatar Museums (QM) has been honoured as a Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) World Leader at the International Green Apple Awards for Environmental Best Practice 2025 in London, underscoring its global leadership in cultural and environmental sustainability. The accolade was formally presented on 17 November at the historic House of Lords in Westminster Palace, following a rigorous selection process that featured more than 100 international nominations. QM earned this distinction for its flagship initiative, “Pioneering Sustainability Through Culture, Innovation, and Community Impact,” which showcases its comprehensive approach to environmental stewardship. The programme highlights advancements in green building excellence, smart energy adoption, and impactful community engagement. Standing out among over 100 global contenders, Qatar Museums emerged as a leading example of how cultural institutions can drive meaningful environmental progress at both national and international levels.
