Qatar University will officially open its doors tomorrow to welcome more than 29,000 students, including over 6,000 new entrants, marking the beginning of the new academic semester across its various colleges and academic levels. Dr. Mohamed Diab, Vice President for Student Affairs, confirmed that all preparations have been completed to ensure a smooth and efficient start. He emphasized that the university’s faculties, services, and administrative units are fully ready to support students at every step. Highlighting the university’s priorities, Dr. Diab noted that student success and empowerment remain at the core of its mission. Qatar University offers a wide network of academic advising, psychological and social support, as well as specialized centers for learning, skills development, and employment. These efforts are designed to enrich the educational journey and provide a well-rounded university experience. Beyond academics, the university provides numerous opportunities for personal growth through cultural, sporting, artistic, and research activities. Dr. Diab explained that such initiatives help students discover their capabilities, develop talents, and build leadership and social skills, preparing them for professional success and community contribution. He encouraged all students to take full advantage of the facilities, complete registration procedures, and actively engage in campus life to ensure a rewarding start to the new semester.
