In addition to the Embassy, you can access certain consular services, like passport renewals and police clearance certificate applications, at the Embassy Consular Desks located at the Indian Cultural Centre (ICC) in Al Mamoura and the Indian Community Benevolent Forum (ICBF) in Al Thumama. Labour & Community Welfare

The Indian Embassy's Labour and Community Welfare Section acts as a crucial support system for Indian citizens in Qatar. They offer guidance and assist with resolving grievances, ensuring the well-being of the large Indian community. Their services encompass a wide range of areas, from verifying employment contracts and worker disputes to death registrations and repatriation assistance. This comprehensive support includes attesting documents related to Indian recruitment and registering companies on the eMigrate system, safeguarding both employers and employees throughout the recruitment process.

Applying for an Indian Visa at the Embassy of India Qatar

The Embassy of India in Doha facilitates visa applications for those intending to visit India for tourism, business, or other purposes.  Following the guidelines set by the Government of India, the embassy assists visitors in obtaining the necessary permits.

To initiate the application process, visit the official Indian Government visa website: https://indianvisaonline.gov.in. Here, you can complete the online application form, ensure all details are accurate, and upload your recent photograph. Once finished, print a copy of the completed and signed application, along with two physical copies of your uploaded photograph. These documents, along with the required visa fee, a photocopy of your Qatar ID card, and your passport (valid for at least six months), must be submitted in person at the Embassy of India, Doha.  For further details and specific requirements, please visit the Indian Embassy Visa Section.
